CUSTOMIZATION: BEFORE YOU ORDER
Confirm the details and quote, review your proof, then approve production. Keep these four stages in mind.
01
Before ordering
Confirm that the item can be customized, then check the process, design, quote and timing. Supply original artwork and exact wording. Payment is followed by proof approval.
02
Review your proof
Check spelling, capitalization, dates, font, position, size and process. Give clear approval before we arrange production.
03
During production
Contact us immediately if you need a change or cancellation. Available changes and any charges depend on progress and the terms agreed in advance.
04
When it arrives
Compare the item with the approved proof. For defects, incorrect items or a design mismatch, keep the packaging and photos and contact us.
CUSTOMIZATION Q&A
What should I prepare for a custom order?
Send the model or product link, quantity, exact wording or original artwork, font, position code, preferred size, any accessories and your desired delivery date. We will confirm delivery and contact details when arranging the order.
Can every lighter be customized?
Customization depends on the material, coating, existing design and chosen process. A blank area does not automatically mean it can be customized. Confirm the workable area and expected finish with us before ordering the service.
What does a custom quote include?
Pricing depends on the item, quantity, design complexity, position and process. Check the item price, customization fee, optional accessories and delivery charge before paying. Buying a standard product alone does not include customization.
What is the custom-order process?
Send your requirements → confirm the process and quote → place and pay for the order as directed → review the design proof → approve it for production → dispatch after completion. Payment is followed by proof approval before production.
What artwork should I send?
Send a clear original AI or JPG file rather than a chat screenshot or repeatedly compressed image. For photo or colour printing, approximately 300 dpi at the intended print size is a useful starting point, subject to artwork review. Make sure you have permission to use the supplied content.
How do I choose the font, position and size?
Use the font and position charts in our customization guide. Send the position code and preferred size, for example B5 for the centre of the front lower case. Lettering, symbols and curved surfaces can limit the result; include a sketch for a special position. Check the supported language in the font chart; English-only fonts cannot be applied directly to Chinese text.
Check the model and quantity, names and dates, spelling and capitalization, punctuation and line breaks, font, position, size and process. Send all requested changes together. When everything is correct, clearly confirm that you approve this proof for production.
How many proof revisions are included?
The current process includes three minor proof revisions. Changing the item, redesigning the artwork, adding an area or changing the process may require a revised quote and schedule. Any additional charge will be explained for your approval first.
How long does customization take?
The overall process generally takes about 7–10 business days for requirements, proof approval and production. Timing varies with complexity, revisions, response time and scheduling; delivery is additional. Tell us about gift deadlines or bulk orders when requesting a quote.
Will the finished item look exactly like the screen proof?
The proof confirms the content and layout. Colour, contrast, texture and line detail depend on the base material, finish, process and screen. Engraving is not necessarily black as shown in a proof. Discuss any specific finish requirements before approving it.
Can I change or cancel after approval?
Contact us immediately so we can check whether the order is in design, approved or already in production. Completed design work or production may incur costs. We will explain the available changes, charges and any refund based on progress and the terms agreed in advance.
Can a custom item be returned?
Items made to your requirements and disclosed before purchase as excluded from Taiwan’s seven-day cancellation right are generally exempt from that right. This does not remove your rights if the item is defective, incorrect or differs from the approved proof. Contact us for assistance.
What should I send if there is a problem with my custom item?
Keep the packaging and send the order number, approved proof, full-item photos and close-ups of the issue. Describe the difference so we can compare the item with the approved design. Do not sand, repaint or modify it before assessment.
Decide whether the main element is text, a photo or a graphic, then provide an original file with usable detail. Enlarging a low-resolution screenshot will not restore missing detail. The designer needs to check linework, text and production size.

Provide copyable text with exact spelling, case, punctuation, dates and line breaks.
Keep key text and subjects away from the opening, hinge and edges where possible; the model determines placement.
Check that the chosen font supports the required language and symbols, and identify the font and placement code.
Provide permission covering production on merchandise if the artwork or logo belongs to someone else.
