Filling Your Hand Warmer
- Make sure the hand warmer is completely cool, then remove the lid and catalytic burner.
- Use the supplied filling cup and add Zippo lighter fuel to the marked level for your 6-hour or 12-hour model. Do not overfill.
- Keep the warmer upright and slowly pour fuel from the filling cup into the filling opening.
- Refit the catalytic burner and make sure it is firmly seated.
- Wipe away spilled fuel and close the fuel container. Check the surrounding area for spills before activation.
- Heat the catalytic burner for approximately 10 seconds as directed in the product instructions. Replace the lid and put the warmer in its protective pouch before use.
The catalyst works with fuel vapor and must not be soaked in liquid fuel. If an open flame appears or you suspect overfilling, stop use and allow the warmer to cool safely. Never add fuel, pour out fuel or remove the burner while it is hot or burning.
